LUCIAN FREUD , painted a portrait of the artist 1952 JOHN MINTON . The first time I saw the picture was Sill El of Dedalus, and I was impressed by his tremendous sadness and image of fragility and transmitting disease, which together with the poem "A MIGUEL", which illustrated in Blog Dedalus, a double blow. how I discovered the painter LUCIAN FREUD (which I love and I am baffled) , but I did not think about who that character was so melancholy, sad and sick.
Today, a walk to the blog of NORAY ( beautiful and desirable blog), I found this other Portrait of John Minton , painted in 1941 by Michael Ayrton (do not know all of this painter, I have not looked yet).
Seeing I could not help wondering who is this John Minton, and two painters who portray ?.... and the result has been: JOHN FRANCIS MINTON
