IBM has released a free application package including a word processor, a spreadsheet and a tool presentations. E `it as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Microsoft . It consists of three elements: Lotus Symphony Documents, Lotus Symphony Spreadsheets and Lotus Symphony Presentations.
Lotus Symphony supports Microsoft formats Office and Open Document Format (ODF), in addition to also incorporate their own format. Another detail is that you can create PDF files from your documents without having to install any addition.
One significant difference is that Lotus Symphony integrates all applications within a single window , each in its own tab, regardless of whether they are documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
IBM Lotus Symphony is an alternative that is worth trying.
